Editions and features
Which features your edition includes, how to see whether each one is active, and how to switch one off.
Two facts decide whether a feature works in your installation, and they are kept apart:
- Available — your licence's edition includes the feature. This comes from the signed licence lease and from nothing else; no setting in the product changes it.
- Enabled — your own choice. An available feature is on until you switch it off, and switching is a signed act, recorded in the audit and shown in the event log.
A feature is active only when it is both. A lease that has expired, or is absent, gives the features of Solo.
What each edition includes
| Feature | Id | Solo | Team | Enterprise | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guardrail judging | guardrail.judge | no | yes | yes | A guardrail plugin judges each exchange with the model |
| Guardrail recording | guardrail.record | no | yes | yes | Each guardrail verdict is recorded in the audit |
| Multiple users | team.multi_user | no | yes | yes | More than one person works in one installation |
| Native install | install.native | no | yes | yes | Install directly on the host, outside a container image |
| Container image install | install.image | yes | yes | yes | Install from the container image — run Studio as containers |

Data posture and deployment
Your machines, your record: what the product asks of your infrastructure, what runs centrally, and what it asks you to own.
Machines that are not in the same room
Running work on machines elsewhere, over a private overlay network between them: what joining gives a machine, what it does not give, and what the fleet can see about each one.
