saphan tree

Reads a commit's files without touching any branch, index or worktree.

Reads a commit's files without touching any branch, index or worktree. Run it with a subcommand.

saphan tree export

Writes the files of a named commit into a directory inside the current worktree's .saphan/work/, for example so a verification step can read a base tree without git worktree add or tar. The target must be empty and inside .saphan/work/; an entry that would land outside it is refused and whatever was written is removed again.

saphan tree export <commit> --into <dir>
flagtypedefaultwhat it does
--intostringThe empty directory to write into, inside the worktree's .saphan/work/ (required).
